Coping with Bereavement

The death of someone close is one of life's most dificult experiences,
it can have devastating and dramatic effects on feeling and behaviour.

The loss of a loved one can affect us in many ways. For some the pain of grief can be overwhelming while others
may, at first, carry on almost denying the loss. Others may feel constantly angry or tearful at the unfairness; they
may suffer uncontrollable mood swings, anger, feelings of guilt, numbness or anxiety.
These are all natural responses to the death of a significant person in their life and part of the bereavement process.
There is no set pattern for grieving or a set time in which it should take place.

You may not wish to burden family or friends, who may also be suffering, but you don't have to live through your grief on your own.

Contacting the 'Bereavement Support Service' can help you through this sad time.
